Sequim, Washington is the beautiful community with the small-town, friendly atmosphere nestled between the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. There are approximately 18,000 people living in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley, which includes the towns of Carlsborg and Dungeness in addition to Sequim. Called the "rainshadow" because of the protection from major storms by the beautiful Olympic Mountains, Sequim only gets an average of 14 inches a year.
